This is a one-year course which introduces students to the accounting profession from entrepreneurship to corporate accounting. Students will work through the entire accounting cycle beginning from the opening entry to analyzing and preparing the financial statements of a business. Students will be using a computerized accounting system that applied all concepts and skills learned. The course is a great career building opportunity for students interested in the path to becoming a CPA. College Credit can be earned through articulation agreement. Fulfills fourth year math-related credit. PREREQUISITE: Introduction to Business Computer Technology & Microsoft Office would help with applications.

COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING (5091/2)
FULL YEAR ‑ 1 CREDIT
(GRADES 10-12)
