Title IX Coordinator
The Title IX coordinator is the responsible employee of the recipient with major responsibility for Title IX compliance efforts. Bullying, Harassment, or Discrimination
Anchor Bay School District has a zero tolerance for bullying, harassment or discrimination. The Board of Education is committed to maintaining an educational and work environment that is free from bullying, discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, genetic information, marital status or any other legally protected characteristic. The Board has therefore adopted antibullying, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies that prohibit discrimination and harassment by Board members, School District employees, students, contractors, volunteers and others connected with the School District. A student or staff member who believes that he/she has been the victim of discrimination, harassment, bullying or cyberbullying must immediately report the incident(s) to the building principal or immediate supervisor. A student's parent must also report any such incident(s) on behalf of the student. Upon receipt of a report (complaint), the principal, supervisor or his/her designee (the investigator) will conduct a prompt investigation. Below is a link to a form to report alleged bullying, harassment or discrimination.
