All students at Sugarbush Elementary will have the academic foundation, social skills, and cultural awareness to become responsible, productive citizens.
5th Annual Reading Super Bowl
The winner of Sugarbush's 5th Annual Reading Super Bowl is the 5th Grade!
Each year, the 4th and 5th grade classes compete to see which grade will score the most points by reading. For every 10 pages read, students scored a touchdown for their team. The classes read a total of 9,724 pages this week! It was fun to hear everyone cheering, “Touchdown!”
Our district takes pride in a kindergarten curriculum that not only meets the state’s standards and expectations but also encourages students to strive to reach their potential. We are continually refining our learning standards for students and are dedicated to providing a top-notch learning environment. We have both full day and half day options available.
Kindergarten Readiness Night will be held at Anchor Bay South Middle School – 48650 Sugarbush, New Baltimore at 6:00 p.m. on March 19th. All families are welcome to attend.

Feed the Bay
Food Drive 2019
The Sugarbush Student Council volunteered to take part in the Feed the Bay Backpack Program, which ensures that every at-risk student in our school district has access to food over the weekend. They showed up ready to serve, and worked diligently to pack 250 bags of food for the program as part of their community service project. Their service outside of school hours will ensure that our students will have access to ample food over the weekend and will be able to show up Monday well-nourished and ready to learn. Taking part in this program aligns with Sugarbush’s mission to instill community service habits in our students.
