Bio

My name is Marilyn Barry and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I have been a teacher for nine years all of which have been at MacDonald Elementary.  Six of those years I have been teaching second grade and the other two years I taught first grade and a 1^st/2^nd grade split class.  I received my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University.  I also completed two Master’s Degrees.  The first was in Curriculum and Teaching through Michigan State and the second was in Reading and Language Arts through Oakland University. 

 

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Nick, and our 1 year old son, Alec.  We enjoy camping, traveling, and spending time with our families.  I also enjoy running, biking, rollerblading, and watching movies.

Monday: Art 11:00-11:45 Music 1:20-2:00

Tuesday: Gym 11:20-12:00 Library 3:00-3:30

Wednesday: Music 1:00-1:40

Thursday: Gym 11:20-12:00 Art 1:00-1:45

Friday: Technology 1:20-2:10
