PLTW Cybersecurity is a full-year course implemented in 10th grade or above. The design of the course exposes you to the ever-growing and far-reaching field of cybersecurity. Through problem-based learning and team collaboration you will act as cybersecurity experts and work within a virtual lab developing your Cyber Skills. This course raises students’ knowledge of and commitment to ethical computing behavior. It also aims to develop students’ skills as consumers, friends, citizens, and employees who can effectively contribute to communities with a dependable cyber-infrastructure that moves and processes information safely. You will explore concepts of safety on the internet, information protection, cryptic coding, ethical cyber hacking and career exploration.
