On October 4, 2007, Ashley Elementary had their annual walk to school day, an event which drew 245 walking participants, which included teachers, parents and students. We all walked from the New Baltimore City Park, down Washington Street to Ashley Elementary. The New Baltimore Police Department escorted us across the busy intersections through town. Students and teachers also decorated their shoes for this fun filled event. A good time was had by all.
